On a beautiful summers day in late July, Jenny married Nick in St Peter’s Church Formby, before inviting their guests to join them in Formby Golf Club for their enchanting ‘rustic french’ themed reception.
The bouquets were a mixture of lavender, lilac and white blooms interspersed with dried wheat, oats and poppy seed heads for a rustic french feel. Lily of the valley and delicate freesia created a heavenly scent.
In the church jam jars filled with soft pink roses, lisianthus, phlox and wheat hung from the end of each pew with rustic twine.
Whist outside, heart wreaths of dainty gypsophila, freesia, lavender and wheat decorated the entrance.
At Formby Golf Club, the tables were decorated with jars and jugs filled with handtied arrangements of lavender, pink and white flowers all placed on wooden log slices.
Our vintage shabby chic candelabras were placed on wooden log slices with jam jars filled with stocks, roses and white scabiousa, with dried oats and wheat to complete the look.
It was Jenny’s finishing touches such as the french themed table names and gorgeous macaron favours that really stole the show and completed the rustic french inspired theme.
And finally, we decorated the staircase at Formby Golf Club with rustic bunches of dried lavender and wheat, tied with natural twine finished with a bow. It was lovely to see Jenny and Nick’s theme come to life in Formby Golf Club and we really enjoyed filling it with fleurs!
